This is the original cover for issue 5, “I want something exciting, something to play with, and some chocolate!”

When this comic was originally made the mid ’90s comic collecting boom was in full flight, and covers with metallic ink were all the rage. I told everyone that the next Plant-Man cover was going to be gold foiled – of course, I didn’t have the same budget as Marvel Comics.

This is easily one of my favourite Plant-Man stories, so get ready to have fun!
